MCH’s board of directors is growing!
We are very excited to introduce Andy Pomroy as our newest board member. Andy is Government Relations Specialist at Fredrikson & Byron. Read below to hear more about Andy:
1) What is your role at Fredrikson & Byron?
I am a Government Relations Specialist where I represent a variety of businesses, non-profits, and local governments at the Capitol.
2) What inspired you to do the work you do?
I enjoy the work that I do on behalf of my diverse clients. I get to use my expertise to help them seek legislative solutions to solve their problems, grow their business or organization, and advocate for the betterment of the people they serve. And in this work, you get the opportunity to work alongside remarkable people who are all working for their versions of a better state.
3) Why did you choose to be on MCH’s board?
Ensuring that everyone has a place to call home has always been an important value of mine. Professionally, I’ve had the opportunity to work in partnership with MCH through the Homes for All Coalition and respect the leadership MCH has provided that campaign. I hope that I can add value to the already incredible work of MCH.
4) Something interesting and fun about you?
I love the Minnesota outdoors in all our seasons. Camping, hiking, swimming, and canoeing in the summer. Skiing and snowshoeing in the winter.
