It’s an off election year but if your local party is hosting precinct caucuses on Tuesday February 3, be sure to bring along the Resolution to Prevent and End Homelessness. A PDF is available here.
Resolution to Prevent and End Homelessness
Whereas an estimated 14,000 Minnesotans are homeless on any given night and 13,000 school children lack stable housing; and
Whereas expanding housing options and economic opportunity is the most humane and cost-effective approach to addressing homelessness; and
Whereas housing stability promotes better health, education, and economic outcomes;
Be it resolved that the Legislature and the Governor enact policies and increase resources to prevent homelessness, promote stable housing, and expand economic opportunity.
