ACTION ALERT: Ask legislators to VOTE YES!

Both the Senate and House released their bonding proposals. The bill may head to the House Floor as soon as Friday. Can you make three phone calls now?

1. Call your state senator and state representative ASAP. Ask them to VOTE YES on the bonding bill and to support $100 million in bonds for housing. Find who represents you.

Here are the final steps: The full House and Senate will vote on the bills as soon as this Friday. The House committee proposed $100 million in bonds for housing; Senate committee proposed $80 million. A final negotiation will reconcile the House and Senate versions. The bill will go back to the full House and Senate before Governor Dayton can sign it into law.

The bonding bill needs approval from a supermajority to pass. Your phone calls make a difference. Funding would help build and preserve thousands of homes for extremely low-income Minnesotans.
